The NEXO project was a conceptual design framework born from a colaboration between University of A Coruņa and Wolkswagen goup automotive company SEAT. The goal of the project was to develop new design codes for electric automotion given the rising importance of these new transportation technologies.

Under tutoring from EUDI professors the year-long proyect yielded fresh ideas for four-wheeled electric mobility, resulting in a grand total of seventy one concepts presented to SEAT.

The NEXO concept revolves around bringing the aesthetic keys of futuristic science fiction into the world of automotive design.

Based on the chasis of a SEAT Leon, the NEXO concept car offers a comfortable interior space for four people and a compact body perfect for city mobility, which is one of the main environments where the fully electric vehicles will play an important role in the near future.
